Ned-Flanders-Christianity and the Fall of the West
How modern christians sabotage themselves
I write this article as a non-Christian, who has observed from the outside in, how modern christianity has caused otherwise well-meaning people, to handicap themselves from fighting the real problems that destroy their societies. The best character to understand this phenomenon is Ned Flanders, a character from the Simpsons who is known for being the literal caricature of annoying modern christians. He never reveals how he really feels, and views any expression of true emotion other than cheerfulness and gratitude as wrong.
As a result, Ned Flanders can never advocate for himself or his needs because they might offend others. He is an impotent shadow of what man once was, having sacrificed his thymotic power at the altar of “being a nice guy”. What he believes is cheerfulness is understood by everyone else as duplicity; Ned Flanders is not the one who will tell you the truth. He is the very type of person who permits sin to proliferate in his society because he has been taught that being “accepting” is the essence of Christianity. If you have spent any time around modern western christians, this will sound very familiar to you.
Recall that the rot of modernity began in the west, and the west, for the better part of the millenium, was dominated by Christianity. If Christianity was the dominant religion, what was it that caused its children to foment, or at the very least permit, such a disgusting culture to proliferate? What changed about the modern interpretations of Christian ideas that caused its followers to roll over and lose so spectacularly agains the rot of modernity while eastern religions continue to preserve these “traditional values?”
What passes as modern “christianity” is actually just liberalism in disguise. Well-meaning people who were called by their religion to stand up for what is right and rebuke what is wrong, are instead, through their “ned-flanders christianity” the very ones who invite and permit evil to proliferate in their communities. They are more to blame for the evil than the worst atheists because they believe they are doing good.
Many people will blame a certain group of people for the demise of society, a convenient Kanye Scapegoat, if I may call them that. However, anyone who uses this scapegoat reveals himself to be a mediocre warrior. If you make yourself strong, no enemy, however powerful, can sabotage your culture or your society. If an enemy from outside can destroy your culture, there was something wrong with your defences, and there was something wrong with your own foundations. As Christianity is the spiritual foundation of the west, in this essay I reveal how a perversion of Christianity to a fake, gay hippie liberalism left the west weak, vulnerable and ultimately led to its destruction.
“Thou Shalt not Judge”
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?”
(Matthew. 7:1)
This quotation from scripture is the most often misinterpreted by liberal hippies who call themselves Christian. The quotation does not condemn judging others, but rather hypocrisy in the judgement itself. It condemns judging others for crimes and sins you yourself continue to commit. This quotation does not condemn judging. In fact, there are many other examples where judgement is encouraged in the Bible, and yet these are conveniently excluded by “be nice and gentle” hippie Christians.
“You shall do no injustice in judgement; you shall not be partial to the poor or defer to the great, but in righteousness shall you judge your neighbour” (Leviticus 19:15)
