There is a software engineering maxim coined by Fred Brooks, build one to throw away, and for the exact same reason.
Is there a reason you didn't include an image of Il solitario? I notice that some of his work adheres to the Golden Ratio layout and some appears not to, such as the Wyndham Sisters, care to hazard a guess on why that might be?
